My sister on the other hand, has a Pinterest obsession and is insisting I find her a lace dress. Outfit du Jour - Black and Blue

My new favorite pants, so blue, so cool.  This top is also a favorite that I was forced to buy (ok maybe not forced but strongly encouraged)  It is so not me, but I was trying to step out of the box and decided I'd give it a try.  And I'm glad I did, because it's super cute and has shoulder pads.  Small shoulder pads.... And these shoes by the way, were $20.  My favorite local boutique Fabrik always has the best finds.  Anyway, looks like I finally found my new photo spot.  Glad I found you friend, you're going to be my new lunch buddy.

Outfit Du Jour - Classic Combinations

I used to fight my mom on tucking my shirt in, wearing tights, cleaning my room.... Well here I am. Shirt tucked in, tights on and I just cleaned my room.  This ones for you Mom.

You can't go wrong with black and cream and you definitely can't go wrong with a fun textured tight like these from Hue.  Today is 75 degrees in Atlanta, so the short skirt is for you weather man.  Thanks for the warm weather, but confusing the hell out of my wardrobe choices.

A Fancy Decal

I recently saw on Pinterest (I think people are getting tired of hearing me start a sentence like this) a KitchenAid mixer that was painted and had a beautiful print on it.  At first I thought they were decals, but it turns out it's a custom paint job costing well over $300.  I'm on a budget so I was slightly disappointed.  But never fail, Etsy came to my rescue.  My other new addiction, Etsy, seems to be full of affordable decal ideas that can be used on anything from your KitchenAid, walls, refrigerator and even your laptop.  Pretty genius and it's an affordable and easy non permanent way to change things up a bit.

The Local Scoop - Alternative Apparel

Give Em The Cold Shoulder

I wasn't sure about this one, but now I'm a full fledged fan and need one ASAP.  I'm pretty much obsessed with these tops and will be on a hunt for one to work into my closet this week.  Kourtney Kardashian was seen wearing one with son Mason at the park.  She has become my  new favorite fashion icon.  Sorry Kim K, but Kourt's got you beat these days.  It's a new twist on a button down and a new way to show some skin.  Loving it!
