Lace and Leather

I feel like I can finally wear Fall clothes. Not. It was 80 degrees today and I'm pretty sure I was dripping in sweat while taking photos.  Thank god I was wearing minimal clothing.  Always a plus here in the South. I just hope the weather stays decent since I'm counting down the days until my much deserved, long overdue, beach vacation.

On a less fashion-y note, I accomplished my very first RX workout last night at CrossFit (a legit workout). If you don't know what I'm talking about, you can skip down to Shop This Look and get your shop on. If you know what I'm talking about, you'll congratulate me.  I did the below workout RX.  Tore my hands up a bit, took forever and pretty much thought I was going to puke since I had to run past one of the smelliest dumpsters ever.  I run past these dumpsters four days a week, but something about last night was just putrid.

For Time:
15-12-9-6
Burpee - med-ball clean - wall ball 15# (who made up this movement anyway?)
Pull-ups
200 meter run

18:09 rx.  It was so nice to finally put rx after my time on the board.

Onto the shopping part of this blog (this is why you're here anyway right?)

  2. was the 200 m run included in the 15-12-9-6?  I ask because you know how much I hate running.  I would have died and taken much longer than 18 minutes.  Congrats on the Rx!! I'm not Rxing anything that involves a pullup.  I was just thinking about how I need to start actually practicing.  Is it weird that I think kipping is kinda hot?

    1. The 200m run was in between each round so there were 4 200 m runs which blows. And it was uphill. Blah. And yes kipping is hot. Start practicing! I still need to get a strict pull up. Kippin is actually easy it's all momentum.
