Reader Q&A Vol 1. Wear the denim shirt dress

I was afraid to actually ASK my readers anything, what if I have no readers and no one responds?! #fashionbloggerproblems. God I hate when people use hashtags in regular conversation... Anyway, luckily I do have readers and turns out you guys are AWESOME.  Within moments of posting my new blog series, "Ask me anything" Or maybe we should call it "Ask The Stylist" or I dunno, maybe you can help me figure out what the hell to call this.  But Katie from The Everyday Southernista just bought this adorable shirt dress, and has no clue what to do with it. Luckily, I've got 3 really fun ways for her to wear it.

Option 1

Go basic with some black tights,

Frye Boots

and a Madewell Belt. Cinching this at the waist will help give you a shape and make you look pulled together.  Add a colorful Madewell Bag and you're good to go.

Option 2

Add a Topshop faux fur vest and cinch the whole thing with a skinny belt.  You'll look SUPER chic.

Option 3

Pretend your dress is a shirt and shove it into any and all skirts you own.  If you keep the skirt fuller on the bottom it won't look bulky with the extra fabric.  This polkadot number from ModCloth is perfect.
