You're Invited To Shit Show Saturday

Things are getting busy over here at My Style Vita.  Hosting fun shopping events seems to be my latest venture and I couldn't be more excited about this one with Nordstrom and Topshop.  For one, Nordstrom was my home for several years in college and I still work with several ladies who I recruited to my new big girl day job.  I've always had so much respect for the store and the company and am excited to come back as an event host next Saturday.

Topshop is an online British retailer that chose Nordstrom as their select store to have pop ups in. Phipps Plaza was one of the few that were selected and we will be showcasing their newest arrivals (shoes and accessories just hit the store too!)  I hope to see some of you local ATLiens there.  Oh and did I mention that one lucky shopper will win a $200 Topshop shopping spree? How could I forget that?! Just try on a Topshop look, get your photo taken in the fun photo booth and you're entered!

Outfit du Jour - Cream Sweater Success

You know what I love most about today's outfit? No bra. Just my go to Express cami with the built in bra. It's life changing spending a whole day talking to people, meetings with businesses like Nordstrom (that's right! Stay tuned for more deets on this) all with no bra on. It's quite nice, you should try it.

I picked up this gorgeous sweater while in NYC for Lucky FABB and IFB a few months ago. I feel like I'm always on a hunt for a cream sweater and it's all because of Grandma Regina. That woman has the most impressive collection of clothes and about 95% of it are amazing cream sweaters. I think she'd be proud of this one.

Denim on denim is trending like cray cray. I think the easiest way to do it without looking like a country star in the 90's is to do different shades of denim.  Adding a colorful fun printed scarf and a bright bag breaks up the blue palette.

Wanted to show off my lovely tan from Fort Lauderdale, so I decided a skirt and boots in the middle of November was a perfect way to rub it in everyone's face.  I just hope this tan lasts a long time. When I get pale, I turn greenish and look like a hot mess.  Oh summer... I miss you already.

An Evening With Club Monaco

One of my favorite stores, Club Monaco, had a full blown makeover a few months ago and last week they had a grand reopening event full of whiskey tastings from Breckenridge, passed h'orderves from Ocean Catering and shoe shines.  I was honored to be a featured blogger as their stylist for the night.  In good company of course with Ashley from Witty + Pretty (Who I FINALLY got to meet, it's about time!), Cathy from Poor Little It Girl, Cath from Asian Cajuns and Mattie of Mattieologie.  We got to style, shop and mingle with some of Atlanta's most stylish.

My Style Vita & fab'rik Event Roundup

As you have seen on my Facebook and Twitter (sorry I know it was annoying!) I was so excited to host my first event as My Style Vita.  MSV and fab'rik boutique teamed up for a night of charity, shopping, sweets and lots of giveaways.  Lots of people showed up, donated coats and picked up a few new things for themselves.
