Last Sunday, I woke up pretty early, thanks to day drinking all day at the Winter Beer Carnival (which was so much fun and felt like Summertime) and did my usual check in on social media happenings. You know to see who loves me and who doesn't, and I know who you are by the way.....and noticed Cath from AsianCajuns was heading to her nearest Target with bedhead to check out the latest Prabal Gurung Collection. I'm not a big fan of these designer collections, but this particular one got me a little excited. So I too jumped out of bed, bedhead, sheet marks still on face, no bra and headed to my local Target.
Turns out Target doesn't take into consideration that I expect designer fabric and fit when these collections hit the floor. Unfortunately these don't fit my big butt and I just can't wear a polyester dress. I just can't. Although everything did look quite lovely on the hangers, just not so much on my ass. Since I was now feeling blue for not fitting into this new collection, I figured I should head to other departments to see what I could find. I of course ended up aimlessly wandering around and stumbled onto the most magnificent end table I've ever laid my eyes on. I've been on a hunt to replace my freshman college Wal-Mart end tables for years now. So of course, I've upgraded to Target. DUH. Isn't that only natural? So now that I have a sea-foam/turqouise ish end table in my sage green hued home, I guess it's time to do a little redecorating. A few simple changes are all I'll need since I've kept my furniture neutral. Here's a few things I'm hoping to add to my space.
Shop The Post
Target Mint Table | Carpe Diem Pillow | Ikea Chair (similar) | C. Wonder Red Lion Statues | Anthropologie Vase | Jonathan Adler Delerium Coasters | West Elm End Table | West Elm Parsons Desk | Candy Jars |
I suppose the moral of the story is, head to target with no bra on and you're sure to find some treasures.

Haha you crack me up!! LOVE that end table, and I too, have been eyeing that desk. It's beyond perfection!! At the moment, I can't afford it ;) xo, Julie
